Logistics and transportation are the disciplines of management where the goal is to make good plans of how to transport a thing (or a person) from A to B. Usually, there are many things (or people) to be transported to and from many locations. Often, there are multiple means of transportation available, coming at different costs and offering different qualities of service. Without logistics, neither our industry nor our daily life could work. Of course, transporting things costs resources and creates pollution. Thus, it should be our goal to optimize it to the limit, to the lowest cost and most environmentally friendly way possible. Here you can find some of my works on this topic.
